My dad bought the Mousetrap Tavern in 1985, and my entire family started working here in one capacity or another. My two brothers and I were teenagers at the time, so we were assigned cleaning duties on weekends before opening, and my parents handled the business end of the business. For over three decades, the Mousetrap has played a huge role in my family's life, and I believe it has helped us to have a better understanding of real life, and all of its ups and downs. Countless friendships have formed and memories have been created. Many good times have been had as well as tears shed for those we’ve lost along the way.

My parents created a space where everyone is welcome, duct tape adorns most fixtures (my dad’s doing), and the cast of characters is diverse and eclectic. Whether you are a first-time customer or a decades-long regular, we hope you’ll enjoy sipping a beverage of your liking, while becoming part of our extended family.
